MS Nordstjernen Travel Itinerary*

Day 1: Boarding in Warnemünde: Begin your journey in Warnemünde, a picturesque German seaside town. The MS Nordstjernen awaits you in the idyllic harbor, surrounded by landmarks such as the historic lighthouse and the Teepott building with its distinctive curved architecture. Once on board, the cozy salon deck invites you to relax while the service crew treats you to your first culinary delights. Slowly, the ship departs from the harbor, and your journey north begins.

Day 2: Fåborg (Funen) and Evening Passage Through the Little Belt: The Danish town of Fåborg on the island of Funen greets you with its colorful harbor. From the deck, you can spot the charming bell tower of Fåborg Kirke and the surrounding old town. Later in the evening, the MS Nordstjernen navigates the Little Belt, a narrow strait separating Jutland from Funen. Keep an eye out for the graceful Little Belt Bridge and the serene coastline, illuminated as the sun sets over the water.

Day 3: Samsø: The historical mail boat docks at the tranquil island of Samsø, renowned for its lush landscapes and traditional charm. From the harbor, enjoy the sight of picturesque fishing boats and rolling green hills that epitomize the island’s serene character.

Day 4: Skagen: Arrive in Skagen, Denmark’s northernmost town, celebrated for its extraordinary light and artistic heritage. As the ship enters the harbor, admire the Skagen Odde peninsula, where the North Sea meets the Baltic in a mesmerizing natural phenomenon. The bright yellow houses and red-roofed warehouses lining the harbor complete the town’s iconic coastal scenery.

Day 5: Flekkefjord: Cross the North Sea to the Norwegian town of Flekkefjord, nestled among dramatic fjord landscapes. The approach to the harbor offers views of pristine wooden houses, perched along the waterfront, reflecting Norway’s traditional coastal architecture.

Day 6: Rosendal and Bekkjarvik: In the morning, the MS Nordstjernen reaches Rosendal, a scenic village set within the Hardangerfjord. From the deck, you can spot the Rosendal Barony, a stately manor surrounded by towering mountains. In the afternoon, continue to Bekkjarvik, a charming fishing village. Its peaceful harbor features quaint boathouses and provides a perfect setting for the ship’s overnight stay. Relax onboard and savor the serene ambiance of this picturesque spot.

Day 7: Disembarkation in Bergen: Conclude your voyage in the historic city of Bergen. As the MS Nordstjernen approaches, take in the iconic Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its colorful wooden buildings.
