MS Nordstjernen Travel Itinerary*

Day 1: Embarkation in Warnemünde: In the afternoon, your special journey begins aboard the historic mail boat MS Nordstjernen in Warnemünde. Upon boarding, you’ll immediately sense the unique atmosphere of a bygone era. After settling into your cabin, the cozy lounge deck invites you to relax, while the friendly crew pampers you with culinary delights. As the ship leaves the harbor, your voyage to the North begins.

Day 2: Passage through the Kiel Canal: A highlight of this journey is the passage through the impressive Kiel Canal, one of the busiest man-made waterways in the world. As the ship glides peacefully through the wide landscapes, green shores, small villages, and impressive bridges pass by. Spend the day on deck or in the lounge, enjoying the unique perspective of the passing scenery.

Day 3: Esbjerg – Denmark’s Gateway to the North Sea: On the third day, the postal ship reaches Esbjerg, a vibrant port city with a rich maritime tradition. The imposing sculptures “Mennesket ved Havet” (Man Meets the Sea) greet visitors at the coast – four giant figures gazing out at the sea. In the city itself, historic buildings and modern architecture blend seamlessly.

Day 4: Skagen – Where the Seas Meet: Skagen, Denmark’s northernmost town, is known for its special light and unique landscape. Here, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea converge at Grenen, an impressive natural phenomenon. The charming town center is filled with yellow houses, small boutiques, and art galleries.
